Living the Scene
2005–2023 – Flyers, Collages, and Stories from My Life in the Independent Music Scene
Mark your calendars. Living the Scene drops October 3, 2026, at OFNR 20, Cherry Street Station, Wallingford, CT.
Immersive Stories from my time in the Independent Music Scene
Living The Scene is a memoir spanning two decades, offering a vivid window into my life as the owner and on-air personality of Official FN Radio and my involvement in the global independent music community from 2005 through 2023.
While a huge part of this book celebrates the vibrant Connecticut underground, it also tells the larger story of connecting bands from across the U.S. and around the world. It’s packed with stories, photos, broadcasts, and reflections, capturing the passion, chaos, creativity, and community that fueled an enduring cultural movement. It’s also the story of a music fan with far too much time on his hands and a deep love for the scene that raised him.
To tell this story the right way, I dug through:
• 15.7GB of photos and flyers
• 202GB of OFNR radio archives
• 238GB of live show broadcast recordings
This is your hub for all things about the book—behind-the-scenes stories, exclusive previews, and the latest updates will appear here first.
