Last Dream Chased started with one open mic performance at the Milford Open Mic.

What I thought would simply be a reason to pick up the guitar and play again ended up pushing me backward through time. Song by song, I started rediscovering the music I loved, the songs I used to play, and pieces of a younger version of myself that I hadn’t visited in a very long time.

Then something unexpected happened.

My 16-year-old son, Brandon, started playing with me.

At first, he learned a song. Then another. Then a few more. Somewhere along the way, it stopped being me playing guitar with my son sitting in. We were actually becoming something together.

On September 5, 2026, Last Dream Chased played our first full set at The Cellar at Treadwell as part of Fear The Masses’ NE Metal Goes Acoustic showcase.

What began as one open mic had become a father-and-son music project.

Last Dream Chased is where the music I grew up with meets the musician my son is becoming—and where we’re beginning to write a few songs and stories of our own.
