Bob “Knob” Marino

I’m a musician, songwriter, author, and longtime supporter of Connecticut’s independent music community.

In 2006, I founded Official FN Radio, a 24/7 independent internet radio station, along with OFNR Studios. For nearly two decades, I dedicated myself to giving independent musicians a platform through live broadcasts, interviews, performances, and events.

Today, that history lives on through Living the Scene, my book documenting the people, music, and experiences that defined those years, along with an extensive archive of broadcasts, photographs, and memorabilia.

I’m also an active musician and songwriter with Last Dream Chased, writing and performing original music alongside my son Brandon.

Living the Scene is the home for my past work, current projects, and whatever comes next on the blog. The radio station and studio may be chapters I’ve closed, but the creativity and passion behind them haven’t gone anywhere.
