Living the Scene is a collection of flyers, collages, interviews, photographs, and stories pulled from nearly two decades inside the independent music scene.
What began in Connecticut quickly expanded far beyond state lines through OFNR, connecting artists, bands, and communities from across the United States and around the world, including the UK, Holland, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Australia, and beyond.
Part memoir, part archive, and part cultural time capsule, Living the Scene documents the people, creativity, chaos, friendships, radio shows, live events, and underground spirit that helped shape an entire era of independent media and music culture.
This is not just a book about one place. It is a book about the scene itself, the ones who built it, lived it, and carried it forward.
